The church was built in the neo-Romanesque style. The outline of the building was based on the plan of a Greek cross, the three arms of which fill the galleries and the choir, and the fourth contains the presbytery. The whole is dominated in the front part by an 80 m high tower, built on a square plan, transforming in its upper parts into an octagonal structure covered with a spire dome. In the central part of the tower there are small octagonal openwork turrets at the corners. The internal dome, made of reinforced concrete, is 26 meters high at its highest point and has a diameter of 17 meters. Inside the church there are numerous wall lamps and chandeliers, the largest of which is four meters in diameter and has 240 light points. Many decorative elements are made of white marble. On the side walls there are rosettes filled with stained glass.
Inside the church there is an organ built in 1928 by the Rieger Orgelbau company from Karniów (German: Jägerndorf), Opus 2360. It has 60 stops and is one of the most valuable concert instruments in the city.
