Slubice, is a city on the Odra River, in the western part of the Lubusz Voivodeship of Poland. The city is divided into a separate gmina (municipality). As of June 30, 2008, the city had a population of 18,148. The city is home to the historic Olympic Stadium, as well as other tourist sites, such as one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in Europe (first mentioned in 1399), architectural monuments, hiking trails, and nature reserves.
