Chynow - a district of the city of Zielona Gora located in its northern part, at the fork of the exit routes from the city center to the districts of Zawada (ul. Poznanska) and Krepa (ul. Truskawkowa), north of the ring road ( national road no. 32). Until January 1, 1962, the village was home to a small brown coal mine in the 19th century, which was closed after the deposit was exhausted. In the northern part of the district, technical infrastructure is being built for a newly built housing estate - the Kolorowe estate. Until the beginning of 2008, there was a car exchange in Chynow.
