Boleslawiec. Old Town Square

Boleslawiec in Lower Silesia is a historic city located at the crossroads of ancient trade routes: the Royal Road Via Regia, connecting Western Europe with Russia, and the route leading from the Czech Republic to the north. This location determined the layout of the city's buildings and the large, rectangular Market Square, which was once a place of trade, was built at the intersection of these routes. The town hall was built along the Royal Road.
